Passing of Former Prince George's County Fire Commissioner Jay Tucker

The Officers and Members of the Riverdale Heights Volunteer Fire Department extend our sincere condolences to the family of Jay Tucker as well as the Officers and Members of Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department this evening.

It is with deep sadness that the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association has been notified of the passing of Julian R. “Jay” Tucker. Jay was a Past President of the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association (2002-2004); Past Chairman of the Prince George’s County Fire Commission (2013-2019); President, Past Chief and Life Member of the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department and Former Member of Baden Volunteer Fire Department and the Volunteer Fire Department of Brandywine. Jay passed away earlier today, March 25, 2021.
