At approx 1315hrs, Engine 131 (E813) responded for the heavy smoke investigation in the area of John Hanson Hwy and Landover Rd. Once they arrived on scene they discovered a large brush fire and requested additional resources. Our volunteers, along with the volunteers from Bladensburg, Kentland and many other resources, including tankers from Anne Arundel county continue to work on the scene.
