New Member Orientation scheduled July 8, 2018

Come out and meet with our Recruiter on Sunday, July 8, 2018 starting at 1:00pm to learn about becoming a volunteer firefighter and/or emergency medical technician with the Riverdale Heights Volunteer Fire Department. The RHVFD is one of the fastest growing 100% volunteer fire & rescue departments in Prince George’s County as well as the State of Maryland.
We will open our doors on a monthly basis starting July 8th, every month for a group orientation to fill upcoming MFRI Firefighter & EMT classes. No experience necessary, however applicants MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or older, be able to pass a background check and be able to successfully pass an extensive NFPA medical physical. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

This will be a two location day, starting at the firehouse at 1:00pm and ending at the PGFD Cranford/Graves Fire Services Building in Hyattsville, MD around 3:30pm. We will have both administrative and operational officers and members assisting the orientation process throughout the day.
